 Join your Panera family as we support Change for Children and the Kids in Need Foundation by packing backpacks with needed supplies. Monday, September 9th - 3pm-5pm

Come volunteer on the farm with Kids Food Basket!

This unique volunteer shift will focus on a variety of farm tasks, which could include planting, weeding, harvesting, washing and general clean-up.  No volunteer shift task is ever a guarantee, and much of the farm-related work will depend heavily on the growing season.  Because farm volunteerism is variable in nature, we appreciate your flexibility!  Volunteers can expect to come ready to work, get dirty and have a good time!  

Dress code:
Please read and adhere to the dress code guidelines in the reminder email that will be sent to you 3 days prior to your volunteer activity.  Activities will occur on a farm, meaning proper shoes should be worn (no slip-ons or open-toed shoes). Volunteer safety on the Farm is a top priority.  If you violate the dress code you will not be permitted to volunteer for a farm activity. 

Inclement weather:
In the event of poor weather, a determination will be made to either cancel or keep the volunteer shift.  Cancellations will be sent in mass communication form - such as email and/or text - whenever possible.  Please be sure to opt-in to text and email communications to receive this information quickly.  

Generation Her, teen Mom program is hosting a teen mom conference and they need help from volunteers! Volunteers would help with set-up/clean-up, child care and help facilitate the flow of the afternoon.

We will be sponsoring the Adopt-a-Block program through Denver Dream Center! We will need volunteers help distribute items throughout a neighborhood as well as help cook and play games! It will be a very fun day outside that you can bring your whole family to. More details to come!

We will be packing hygiene packs for Change for Children partner San Diego Rescue Mission!

We will be helping the child’s family with needed yardwork. The child has a super cheerful and silly disposition, despite ongoing treatment for beta thalassemia (a blood disorder). Let’s bless him and his family with our Panera team’s amazing heart and work ethic! Come dressed to get dirty, work hard, give back and have fun!

Feeling crafty? Come to our cafe and macramé away to create handmade friendship bracelets for us to share with families in the hospital, volunteers as thank you gifts, and at events to raise awareness about CCA. No artistic ability required!

It takes only about 30 minutes to make a bracelet!

We will be helping with Sack Supper Food Prep.

What is a Sack Supper? It is a free, well-balanced evening meal full of nutritious food delivered to children so that they can perform their best. Sack Suppers are distributed within classrooms at the end of each school day and during summer programs too, meaning every child in need can get one easily and safely. Kids’ Food Basket serves children who attend schools where 70% or more of the student population receive free or reduced-cost lunch.
